Update...

So, I missed Feature Friday for the second week in a row... I am NOT doing good here. 

Things are crazy right now, and I am working on getting custom orders finished first before I get anything up in the shop. Want a peak at what those orders are??? :) A grad dress, a maxi skirt, and some crib sheets.

I haven't fallen off the face of the earth, I am just too busy, (again). 

What would you like to see more of/new in the shop?

I am looking forward to your ideas!!! :)

Update. 12/24/2012

So, it has been quite around here. Sorry.
My life is busy, no, hectic. Exams, work, family.... the list goes on. The last thing I have been able to get around to is sewing, almost -I think cleaning my room is on the bottom of the list. My sister as coerced into that one today. :)
Things are happening, there are oodles of ideas on the brain and my fabric stash is growing. I have a couple of things sitting by my feet right now, as well as a lovely serger sitting beside me {which only has 2 full spools, not three} :S. It works like a dream, but I don't know how to re-thread it. Oh, bother. :)
Anyways, there is one more wrinkle I need to iron out before the unveiling of the etsy shop. Unfortuntely, the post office is not open when I am not working. Hopefully I will be able to figure it out on time.
Talking about the Etsy shop, what would you prefer in regards to a possible giveaway??? A gift card? An outfit or some other baby article?? A custom order at a discounted price???? I need ideas, let me know what you think!!!!
I think that is all for now. Hopefully I my next post about the etsy shop will have a 2013 behind it, and carry AMAZINGLY AWESOME news!!!! :)

Another Update:

Just thought I would update you all on what is going on again.

Name - The name is CHANGED!!! :) Made 4U Handmade Designs is the new official name. :) This will be the name attached to everything from now on. Etsy, Facebook, the blog... The blog URL is staying the same though {made4ubyemily.blogspot.com}. That is what everyone knows, so I am keeping that the same.

Etsy - Still in the works. I am waiting for ONE thing, and it still hasn't come in the mail!!!! *Grrrrrr* Anyways, hopefully it will be waiting for me when I come home sometime this week.

Facebook - The page is UP!!! Check out my profile, or just search 'Made 4u Handmade Designs'

Sewing - Well, I have lots and lots of fabric, does that count??? ;) I am approaching exams so things are getting busier. I also got a new job {working at a fabric store, go figure ;)}. I haven't had to time to get anything started, but in two or so weeks, when exams are done, I have almost a month to fill up the shop. There are lots of ideas sitting here though.

In the mean time, keep reading....

Custom Orders - YES, YES, YES!!!! :) Wanting something for Christmas??? I can totally do that. I have two orders almost done now, and can take on more. I can make gifts you want for others, Christmas outfits you want for you or your kiddos... give me ideas, I will see what I can do!!! :)

 

Now, I just have to be patient and wait for the Etsy things to be ironed out....

Update:

It's been quite on your end for a couple of weeks, BUT it hasn't been quite on my end. :) I have been busy sewing up a bunch of outfits, including an custom order for a friend. I have also made a number of hair bows, which will be up when the Etsy shop is running. Yes, an Etsy shop is in the works. :)Hopefully by the end of this week I will be almost ready to get things started. I have realized that I love doing this, and would love to do it more than I do. To do that, and get the publicity I need that will make this idea grow, I need to start an Etsy shop. Things are going to be changed up a bit; the blog will have a new look and be used for mostly updates and ideas. I am also hoping to get a facebook page started in connection with the Etsy shop.

 

So, there are a bunch of changes coming, and hopefully things will go smoothly. :) In the mean time, I appreciate your comments and suggestions. Just leave a comment. :)

So, I thought that I would put some questions out there. Kind of a mini-survey of sorts.

What are you all looking for? If you wanted to give someone a baby gift, or were looking for something for your own little one, what would you want?

Are you interested in more specialized types of baby things? Outfits, special blankets, something like that?

I started with bibs and blankets, because I could get them out there for you fast. I personally LOVE making and designing baby outfits. The problem is that they take more time, and I can't make them in larger amounts. I don't have a steady number of people buying yet [which I completely understand. I mean, I just started. :)] and I don't really have the time [:'( I know, sadness.]. I also find it kind of boring. My mind is always full of ideas, and I want to execute them all!!! :)

So, what I am looking for is your feed back. If you have visited often, or this is your first time, just leave a comment. Any idea you have, I am completely open to hearing!!! :)

What is your dream baby gift? Either something that you want to give, or that you would love to recieve? [Be careful what you wish for, if I know you personally, it might just end up at your doorstep when, or if, you have a baby. :)]
